Tuolumne County based wireless internet service provider, Conifer Communications, is please to announce that it is now offering Wi-Fi in downtown Groveland. With service being provided from multiple points throughout the town, coverage runs from the Pizza Factory down to the Charlotte hotel along Highway 120. Locals and travelers alike can now have Wi-Fi coverage with the first 15 minutes of use free of charge and day or week passes available for purchase after that.

With its operations office in Groveland, Conifer Communications has provide the installation for no cost to the town or it’s residents.  It will continue to provide for the maintenance of the system, also at no cost. The service has been up and being tested since the first of the year (2016).

Conifer Communications is very proud of their hometown want to support it in the best way possible. By allowing visitors traveling to Yosemite to share with the world their great experiences in Groveland through the downtown Wi-Fi, hopefully we can aid in the promotion of our town.

Travelers will be notified of the service through signs around town with information written in multiple languages including Spanish, French, Japanese, Cantonese, and of course, English.
